Deering High School
Deering High School provides a diverse range of athletic opportunities, with 32 athletic teams available to students. The school’s mission emphasizes valuing, challenging, and empowering every student, which is reflected in their commitment to athletics. Sports offered include football, soccer, field hockey, and cross country in the fall; basketball, ice hockey, and indoor track in the winter; and baseball, lacrosse, and outdoor track in the spring.

Southern Maine Community College (SMCC)
SMCC’s SeaWolves athletic teams are dedicated to excellence, teamwork, and respect. The college offers nine sports teams that are members of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC). Men’s teams include baseball, basketball, golf, and soccer, while women’s teams feature basketball, softball, and soccer.
